The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has announced the resumption date for the 2025/2026 academic session and this marks the start of academic semester for both new and returning students.
The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) will resume the 2025/2026 academic session on Monday, 20 January 2025. This decision was made at the 317th Senate meeting held on Thursday, 31 December 2025.
Registration Details for Resumption
- Registration for new students begins on 20 January 2025.
- Registration for returning students also starts on 20 January 2025.
- Payment of registration charges is required before registration.
Students who do not pay the full levies will not be allowed to register or access academic activities.
